Sanderson Stewart provided design and plans and specifications for the new drainage system and sub-base for the FieldTurf playing surface for Bobcat Stadium, as well as other associated stadium improvements. Project challenges involved utilizing existing storm drainage infrastructure and working around existing stadium infrastructure and utilities, project/construction scheduling, and coordinating with athletics, facility services, and contractor to meet various client needs. Construction Administration services were also provided, and our team worked closely with the contractor in order to meet the construction deadlines to have the field completed by the first home football game.

Billings Water Rehab

The City of Billings 2012 Water Main Rehabilitation Project consisted of installing approximately 15,000 lineal feet of new water main to replace aging pipelines throughout the City of Billings downtown area. Traffic control on busy arterial streets and coordination with the City of Billings, the Montana Department of Transportation was crucial to the success of the project. The project replaced existing lead services and water mains from the early 1900's. The project also included replacement of incidental items such as sidewalks, curb and gutter, and street reconstruction. Sanderson Stewart provided survey, design, construction administration and construction survey.

Copper Ridge Subdivision

Copper Ridge Aerial

Copper Ridge is a "coved" residential subdivision design in northwest Billings. Situated on 97 acres of sloping topography below the rimrocks, there are 338 single family lots situated with careful consideration of their views; no home faces another directly. Back yards are hidden from passing traffic. With fewer intersections, added green space is available. Large front yard "coves" alternate from one side of the street to the other, resulting in a residential streetscape that appears park-like. Sanderson Stewart provided full consulting services for this development, including traffic impact studies, annexation, zoning, planning, platting, improvement infrastructure design, entitlements and permits, construction administration, and quality control.
